We all ate unusual things when we were kids. Is that a safe assumption to make? No, I’m not talking about dirt or inedible things, more like the testing of unusual flavor combinations. That’s what you do when you’re a kid and you’re curious about everything — you test it out! Sometimes they stick (like my affection for peanut butter and pickles and onion — don’t judge) and sometimes they don’t.
But when you become a television personality and celebrity chef, your weird foods never go back in the closet.
