After working for food publications for more than eight years — and being a home cook for even longer — I finally got myself a Vitamix. It’s been such a game-changer, and not just because it’s a Vitamix (often considered the gold standard of blenders) or because it’s amazing (mine has a measuring cup in the lid, you guys!) — but because it’s a new blender. Period.
